We launched Mpathy in March 2023 with a mission to serve a vast number of customers who are struggling to settle claims or understand the essential technical aspects of their Health Insurance policies due to complex jargon and mis-selling. Founder

Mr. Sachin Shrikant Mahajan

Mr. Sachin Shrikant Mahajan is the founder of Mpathy, and he has over 32 years of experience in the service industry, out of which more than 15 years are in the health insurance industry. He started his career as an agent in the year 2000, which gave him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by customers and agents.

In 2007, Mr. Mahajan joined Star Health and Allied Insurance Co. Ltd. as an Area Manager and played a crucial role in expanding the company’s presence in Maharashtra. He mentored over 100,000 agents and 1,000 Sales Managers across India, earning a reputation for his motivational style that emphasizes direct communication and the importance of focusing on the basics. Additionally, he served as President and National Head of Health Insurance at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Ltd.

Under Mr. Mahajan’s leadership, Star Health’s premium collection from the rest of Maharashtra grew from Rs. 11 lakhs to over Rs. 1000 crores. After serving Star Health for over 13 years, he left the company as Joint Executive Director and National Head of Personal Accident Insurance and Agency Development Vertical. Mr. Mahajan firmly believes that customer satisfaction is paramount and the key to achieving unparalleled growth.

In addition to his extensive experience in the health insurance industry, Mr. Mahajan has conducted over 500 training sessions and is highly regarded for his connectivity, humility, and consistent support. He has trained sales teams to deliver outstanding performance without compromising on ethics, and his impromptu communication style has impressed large crowds at public sessions. With his vast knowledge of the industry and excellent communication skills, Mr. Mahajan is widely respected as a leading figure in the health insurance sector.
